This website provides a great solution for your problem. No scars left at all. Big thanks to this website

Robert asks…

I can’t find any honest at home work or business. Is anything for real?

Everything I check out is a scam for work at home jobs or businesses. I don’t believe in get rich schemes, just want to start something that will help me out when I retire, my company dropped our pension program. You can’t live on social security very well. I’m pretty computer savy. I’m appalled at how many seaches on ripoff reports or scambusters shoot down companies I look at. Please help: I’m running out of time. Thanks to all!

Yahoo answers:

They “dropped” your pension program? What’s going on with this company?
A home based “job” is not going to bring you a sufficient amount of income. You will only be paid minimum wage. Most companies don’t feel they need to pay anyone more then that because their gas cost is eliminated. What people don’t realize, what about your spouse? Do they still have to drive to work every day? Grocery shopping, outings, and things like that are still going to cost gas. If your married and you have a minimum waged job, pretty much your entire pay check will be going to your spouse’s gas tank with the gas prices these days. Then you still have the normal bills you need to pay each month as well, food, utilities, mortgage (rent for most people). Think about how much money you spend in that alone? If you need more income, I don’t see how a minimum wage home “job” is going to cut it then.

You’ll find a lot of links to surveys. Survey’s are not what you think. They require a lot of time, and you won’t make what they claim you will. A couple of my friends did a six month test on several different survey sites like Survey Savvy, Harris Poll, Greenfield, Opinion Outpost, Survey Sport, Buzzback, NPD online, Lightspeed Panel, African American, Your2Cents, Project Payday, Inboxdollar, SnapDollars,Send Earnings, Creation, mycoke rewards, E-poll etc. Each did some the same sites and some different sites. Totaling at least 15 – 20 a piece. They’re not what people say they are. Yes they are easy to do and you can receive money and prizes, compensating you for your time and effort. So they’re not a scam. They’re very time consuming though. When you add the time together, It’s more time then you think! If you do decide to get into surveying, you better plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and make minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what’s required to get that is amount, the calculations of the time involved, and what you got paid in these “higher” paying surveys, still only averages out to minimum wage. It’s a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn’t seem to be as long as it really is. But we did the documentation’s and figured the time vs money factor. We found that there was more time with little money to be made.
Here’s how the survey’s work. You spend approximately 10 to 15 minutes per each site to register and set up a profile to qualify for surveys. (this is non paid). To make anything really work, you need to register for at least 14 different ones, and make sure non are related to each other. Then you’ll start receiving emails for surveys. Each survey you have to complete a 15 to 20 minute “pre-qualifying” survey, after you were already told you qualified based on your profile (you don’t get paid for this) Then if you do qualify for a survey (which majority of the ones you don’t qualify for. So you’ve wasted this 15 to 20 minutes and sometimes longer of non paid time.) Then if you don’t qualify for one, they offer another and you have to do the same thing, and the same thing happens.) You waste approximately 45 minutes to an hour until you finally qualify for a survey. You take a 30 to 45 minute survey and make normally $1 to $3 a survey that they claim takes 15 minutes. Or instead of money, you earn “points” which later on can be exchanged for money or prizes. You have to earn enough points to make $10. That’s not including the 15 minute pre qualifying survey, that you had to repeatedly do prior to land this survey. So you’ve now spent thirty minutes to an hour and made $3 or a few points. And the process between each of the survey sites is the same. So you can pretty much do the math. It averages out to be between $2 to $6 an hour. Sometimes you do come across a survey that will pay you $25 to $75 a survey, BUT there’s A LOT more to it then what meets the eye on that as well.
Here’s how the larger pay out survey’s work. It could be a telephone survey or a Internet survey. You get the pre qualifying part of 10 to 20 minutes then if you qualify for it another 15 to 30 minute survey or a telephone survey about the product your about to try to see if you qualify to try it. Even though you took a 10 to 20 minute “pre qualifying survey” that said you qualify for. When you qualify for it, they send you a product out to try for 7 to 10 days and you do some daily documentation’s on it. Depending on what the product is and the documentation’s it’s usually 5 – 15 minutes each daily documentation. (you got a free product to use around the house, this is a good part of it) after trying the product out you have to complete another survey that takes between 15 to 30 minutes to do. Now you do the calculations on that. You don’t get as many of these types of survey’s. They use the hype on getting paid $25 to $75 dollars for 15 minute surveys. NOTICE THE PLURAL IN “SURVEYS” What they don’t tell you is that there is more then one survey involved in these. Now calculate from your pre-qualifying survey to the next pre-qualifying survey from the company carrying the product, to the trial and documentation’s, to the last survey on these products. Then you receive a check four weeks to six weeks later. Do the math, that’s less then minimum wage!
Another way to earn money on survey sites, is to refer people over to the sites. Some survey sites will give you a percentage on what the people do after they’ve reached a curtain amount of points or obtained their first check (refer back to the top of what’s involved) You either get a lot of points for this, and only one time and when you reach a curtain amount of points you can exchange it for cash or prizes. (Cash amount is usually $30 before you can cash out- do the math on how many pre-qualifying surveys and the surveys you get, the time involved etc this is what it takes to earn the $30) Other survey sites you complete shorter surveys (5 to 15 minutes) and your entered into sweepstakes or lottery things for prizes or money. “Lottery”-one winner out of all the people doing survey’s. If you don’t win, you lose your points.

Your best bet if you want to work from home and make a sufficient amount of money is to start your own home based business. There are so many different home based business to start up. Things from Child Daycare Centers, cooking as in catering, scrapbooking, Telecommunications, fishing charters, Candle Making, Travel agents, etc etc etc. Their are many different types of home based businesses. Most home based business cost under $500 to start. I’m going to be honest with you, when starting a business, their is no money at first. You have to build it up. No matter what business you get involved in. The more effort you put into it and how hard your willing to work it, will depend on when you start making a sufficient amount of income. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.

In home based businesses, depending on which one you get involved in, it usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks to start making an average income. 4 to 6 weeks to increase that.
And 3 to 6 months to be self sufficient. If you put the time and effort into it. Most people start their business on the side if they don’t have a cushion to live on while they build their business. This will allow you to build your business much quicker. But most people have full time jobs and run their business on the side. When their business reaches the income level they desire, they put their normal jobs down and continue with just their business with or without help. That part depends on you. It’s easier to build a business with a product that’s high in demand. Meaning not one that they can bypass your expensive product and run to the nearest store to get it cheaper when money is tight for them.

I don’t have much to go on with what your interests are, other than computer skills. So I can only try and help you out by refering you over to a few different businesses to take a look at. I’ll tell you what my husband and I have had and enjoy doing for over six years now. I can also refer you over to my blog on my 360 yahoo page on “home based businesses” There are over half a dozen different ones to take a look at for more ideas.
So here’s a few things that you should take a look at before getting involved in any company.
1. How long have they been in business? We checked to see how long our company was around, at the time it was nine years old and now it’s 15. Do you know when they started?
2. Are they registered with the BBB. Ours is registered. I think this is important one.
3. Who’s involved with the company? Like in ours Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki has endorsed our company. Check to see if anyone has endorsed this company. Also, meet with the co-founders. We’ve personally met our co-founders and found from our first meeting that they were incredible people with incredible visions. See if their’s a time where you can meet them. If your going to be doing business, there should be a time where you should have the chance to meet with them.
4. What is the compensation plan now, and what was it like before.
See the history of the comp plan and see if increases and never decreases in it’s history. We checked with the records in our business and found that in over the years, the compensation plan had only gotten better each year. As long as we’ve been involved, we’ve now witnessed the compensation plan always increasing. Check the history on yours.
5.Have they been featured in magazine’s? For instance our company has been featured in several magazines Like Success, Fortune, USA Today etc. Check to see if

Affiliate Programs That Pay: Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Friday, 4 February, 2011

Steven asks…

Are there affiliate programs which pay for phone call leads to a call centre which sell high priced products?

I market high priced information products which are sold over the phone from my call centre i.e. not sold online. Are there any affiliate programs that would allow me to pay hundreds of dollars upon a sale made this way?

Yahoo answers:

Try to find out at cj.com. There are so many products there and there are premium products…just browse on their thousands of affiliate programs.

Jenny asks…

What affiliate programs actually pay you?

I am legally disabled and I am searching for online methods of extra income. Can anyone recommend an affiliate program that actually pays on time, has been around a good while, and can be totally done sitting on my butt looking at the computer screen (well not that literal LOL!)?

Yahoo answers:

There are tons of great affiliate programs out there. What you want to do is find a niche that you are passionate about and start from there. Join up with the main affiliate networks – Commission Junction, Shareasale, Linkshare (there are a number of good ones) – and sign up for affiliate programs in your niche. The start building your content and your community. Just remember, it usually takes 3-6 months for a new site to get going and start getting any sort of decent traffic. Check out the site below for a ton of free information for someone looking to get started in affiliate marketing.

Sandy asks…

Are there any webhosting affiliate programs that pay out immediately at your request?

Or do they all have a certain day of the month when they pay/minimum payout?
Okay, but do you know any that pay out when I request it?

Yahoo answers:

Some pay at fixed times during the month, others pay when you reach a certain revenue threshold that you establish

Donna asks…

what are some good affiliate programs that pay as soon as you earn the commission?

I mean like if I earn the commission today I get paid today like i can go spent it today. thanks please no on line surveys unless there is one that doesnt make you fill out a bunch of offers and it pays decent.

Yahoo answers:

Hi,

Let me show you how you can realistically make a solid six-figure a year income working from home starting today! No experience needed! The best part is it works for everybody, even those who doesn’t have a lot of money right now. If you can make good money I think it doesn’t matter you will be paid right now or a few days later.

Ken asks…

What are the best affiliate programs that pay through paypal?

Yahoo answers:

I really don’t suggest you to attempt making money with programs that only pay your commissions via PayPal.

Reason is, not because the programs are dishonest, but because PayPal will flag your account if you make lots of money and possibly close it, at which point you can not use PayPal’s services anymore. I am earning thousands online and PayPal has closed my account over $300 in my account and I am probably one of the most honest earners on the net.

I do suggest you to check out affiliate programs which will pay you via cheque. A good resource I use is:

www.Working4U2Earn.com

Hope this helps you

Affiliate Marketing Program: Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Tuesday, 11 January, 2011

Daniel asks…

Affiliate Marketing?

I’m just signed up for an affiliating marketing program. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with this type of business. Is this a good business? I would like to hear the good as well as the bad. Maybe some good advice on some niches to foucus on. Any tips would be great. I’ve tried some home business opportunities before but they all were scams. I really want to succeed with this. Thanks to all.

Yahoo answers:

You could focus your niche on things people really want, not what they need because not many people buy what they need they buy what they desire!
You could go to ebay and check the ebay pulse section and find out what people are searching for and buying the most, and then drill down into that niche so that you are not competing in a general niche where thousands of other people are promoting their stuff.
The Lycos top 50 is also another good source to find out what is being searched for the most.
When you find a hot niche you will need to milk it for all it’s worth! Which means setting up a website with articles on the niche you have chosen, plus the affiliate products you want to promote on there as well.you could also set up an autoresponder so that you can catch peoples email address so that you can carry on selling to them even when they have left your site.
You will also need to write some unique articles based on highly searched for keywords that have low competion anything under 50,000 competing pages should be fine, submit them to ezine articles and include your link to your website in your authors resource box,try to write at least one article per day.
If you do not want to pay for a website then you can easily set up a free blog with either blogger or wordpress.
Remenber to update it daily.
Another way to get traffic to your site or blog is to set up a squidoo page on a specific subject in your niche and link it back to your site or blog.
There is a lot more than this to it but if you take it step by step and continue to build around your niche then over time you will start to see the money coming in.
If you are stuck for ideas on how to find a profitable niche then checkout this report on 9 powerful tips to find a dominate your Niche!

John asks…

what is the simplest affiliate marketing program to get into?

Yahoo answers:

If you had no visibility then you’d probably not see it…perhaps if you tried minding ur own business and stay out of everyone elses then you dont have to worry about marketing programs afterall you actually designed the marketing program..but im sure you will learn eventually…

Sandy asks…

what are the basic things involved in promoting a product or different products in affiliate marketing program?

Yahoo answers:

Hi there,

As an online marketing professional since 1994 I have seen lots of really neat products you can offer to people to sell. As regards what kind of products, I personally only offer things I like myself that I have personally checked out very thoroughly first.

A while back I was asking the same question that you are. After a huge amount of personal research and a lot of disappointments, I finally took an easy online affiliate marketing course offered by a top affiliate marketing pro and I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with what I learned.

This would be my advice – first do a simple course, and from there, that will give you the direction to go in which will work for you personally.

You can reach me through my website below and I will answer more questions if you like. The main thing is – don’t part with a lot of money until you feel sure you’re making a wise investment. Also, you must actually follow the advice and tips that you learn as you go along. You need to apply what you learn, because that’s the only way it’s going to work.

If you just want to get started right away and get some free information (a free e-book that shows you how to do what you are wanting to do) or do the course that I took, click on the second link below.

Thanks for the great question!

Sincerely, Mandy Wildman

William asks…

What is affiliate program/marketing/links?????? plz read bellow details..?

I just hear about Affiliate, and hear that pplemake good money with them.
Me too a’m eager to join the fray, as i’m desperate in making money online.
NOW, can i join/have/join(????????) a free affiliate marketing WITHOUT having my own site or blog?
If so, how, and which one?

please,

Yahoo answers:

Affiliate sales are a huge part of making money online. Affiliate advertising is what’s driving much of the Web economy. With billions of dollars up for grabs online, there’s no reason not to start making affiliate sales and earning money online.

It’s nearly impossible to make money online being an affiliate without a blog or site. What you need to is choose products that have a definite audience. Affiliate sales are a numbers game. There’s a lot of competition and a lot of products to be sold. You need to choose items that have a large possible customer base as well as items that don’t have too much competition. Search the Internet and see where the items are being sold. If there are pages and pages of results, the item may been over-saturated in the market. Even great affiliate marketing won’t make much of a dent if over-saturation is at play.

Put together an affiliate marketing website where you can display your affiliate links. The links are what your customers will use to buy products. For each item they buy through one of your custom affiliate links, you will get a specific portion of the sale. Each company determines their own commission percentage. Put plenty of information about the topic on the site- not just the links. People won’t be intrigued by a page of links with nothing more.

Drive people to your website or your links by placing your own articles in article directories and on blogs and other websites. These articles will help you by containing an affiliate link at the end of them that points to your website.

Hire a Web writer to write the articles if you have trouble writing professional-quality articles or if you don’t have the time to do so. You can also buy private label rights articles. These give you the rights to use the articles any way you wish and to change the articles to better fit your website.

Keep promoting your website. It takes time and effort to make affiliate marketing into a successful business. To get the largest number of customers you can, you have to have steady website traffic. You may also want to pay for affiliate advertising like pay per click ads. Try purchasing banner ads on a well-known website or using AdWords pay per click ads to promote your site.

Heres a great website with all the affiliate secrets, tips and strategies which will teach you how to make money, increase sales and promote your product, anything just for two dollars, amazing site highly recommend it: http://s-ebookstore.com

Richard asks…

How do I select an affordable web affiliate program/service? Any recommendations?

I’m starting a web-based business. I’d like to create an affiliate marketing program to find and implement a program for referral agents and link backs. Any tips, suggestions or referrals for same?
I’m selling a professional marketing service to small business clients. Transactions are available by credit card payment on the site or by phone. No storefront. It’s national in scope.

Yahoo answers:

I would look for all the rotator programs I could find. Free banner ads that you can add to your site. Free classified ads. Usually they want you to add a small button of their site to your own.

Making Money Online Legitimately – Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Thursday, 30 December, 2010

Sandy asks…

What is the best and fastest way to make money online legitimately?

I want to make money quick and easy online. Like do online surveys, but I know a lot of them are fake or fraud! Any tips or places that are legitimate?

Yahoo answers:

There are many ways generate cash from your time. Literally. For instance you can look into writing. Words can be worth $5.00 per 450 words if written half good.

There are many sites all over the net where you can sell them from, it’s not too difficult to do it just needs learning how it all works, the more you put into it the more you reap.

Joseph asks…

How can I make money online, legitimately, as a 13 year old?

I would like to make some money because all the paper rounds in my area are being done, and so I would like make some money. I have looked into survey sites but some look too risky; CashCrate posted cheques in US dollars an I am from the UK. Is there and legitimate survey sites, and/or any other ways to make money over the web.

Thanks for the honest advice guys!

Yahoo answers:

Hey, even 13 year olds have the right to make money! I know I did.. Heck, I used to be a paper boy, collect coke bottles, mow lawns, wash cars, and even remove poison oak out of little old ladies yards in Carmel because I did not catch it. I also invented all kinds of cool little toys from crossbows made from Street Sweeper brush things to lock picks.. And.. I sold em to other kids…

Also, do NOT let dumb adults EVER tell you can’t do something. It is the death of creativity because one day you might live right down to their expectations! Got it? Because you ask such a question tells me you are a “Go Getter” so, my young friend keep at it! Inventive ideas are ALWAYS sold on the web.. Start learning about WordPress.. Visit here to start your FIRST Free website.. Http://wordpress.com/ If you do it contact me personally.. I will help you out!

The stuff you mention is kind of scammy… I know you are from the UK but did you ever hear of the Ginsu Knife guy? The guy who you see on TV showing all kinds of silly inventions?

This guy took some crazy ideas he had and made millions with them. He is an inventive kind of guy and makes up crazy names we all can remember and shows you how to market them.. I think it is pretty nice! Take a look here.. Http://bit.ly/GinsuKnifeGuy You may recognize many of his products even in the UK!

If you are the inventive type take a look at the top 10 reasons to file a Provisional Patent Application please watch the second video in this blog. Http://www.filepatentapplications.com/blog/

If my answer was of value to you please remember to vote!

Good luck!

Nancy asks…

Does anyone really make money legitimately online?

Are there any real, ongoing ways to make money from home online? We’ve all seen the million work at home ads that suck you in, but do people really do it successfully?

Yahoo answers:

Like yourself I’ve been searching for quite awhile for a good work at home job but to no avail. All I can say is there are a lot of scams out there and just be careful. Any real work from home job will never ask for a fee upfront so don’t even waste your money trying. Take it from me I’ve lost quite a lot trying. Remember if it seems to good to be true then it probably is!

Ken asks…

I know this sounds silly, but is there a good site where you can make money online legitimately?

I kinda got laid off and I’m just at home at i cant find a job. I’m running out of options, times are just very rough for me. Any suggestions or tips would mean allot.

Thanks!

Yahoo answers:

Lionbridge is a legitimate company that hires ‘Internet Search Consultants.’ It would be something to look into. You must pass two exams to get hired I believe and the pay is around $10/hr. Otherwise, you could start a CPA website and earn $30-$50/month just for having your website up.

Susan asks…

How can I LEGITIMATELY make money online?

I’ve already fallen for a scam… I don’t need some crazy money, just enough to make some extra side cash! Thank you!

Yahoo answers:

I recommend taking a look at http://www.legitimately-earn-cash-make-money-online.com/. They review a whole bunch a really good methods to earn money online. I’ve used a couple of their methods already, and so far they work really well!

Top Affiliate Programs – Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Sunday, 14 November, 2010

Daniel asks…

Who has the highest paying affiliate program?

I’m about to begin an internet marketing campaign and promote affiliate products. Who is the top paying affiliate program?

Yahoo answers:

The way I make money online is by making websites. You do not need to be a genius either.

These websites are targeted to niche markets and promote ebay items for related goods. I add in amazon ads and other big search engine ads that we had best not mention. Its a great income from many sources.

I reckon anyone can do using the program I do. Ebay pay $25.00 per new sign up and 50% of any revenue they make from a sale if someone buys through your site.

And that can be anyone, even friends, family or you as well as the worldwide visitors.

Take a look at http://www.nichebomb.com

Carol asks…

EMBED AFFILIATE LINKS IN DOMAIN NAME?

Hello friends, I am a newbie in the field of internet marketing. I intent to initiate article marketing with affiliate links embedded in the resource box. But article directories do not permit to put direct affiliate links in their resource box. For instance ezinearticle says:
EzineArticles.com Editorial Guidelines: (AFFILIATE PROGRAMS):

Affiliate links will be allowed if the link is a domain name you own which forward/redirects to the affiliate link from the top-level of the domain name. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

http://your-company-name.com/

…but it would not be permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

http://your-company-name.com/page.html

http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/

http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page.html

http://sub-domain.your-company-name.com/

Any article with an affiliate link that does not adhere to this guideline will cause the article to be rejected.
Now my questions are: 1.would a free domain name from blogger.com do?
2. Is it possible to embed affiliate links in my domain, so that each time one clicks the domain name would be send directly to the vendor’s website instead of my blog. I want to use my domain name as a bridge between my articles and the vendor’s websites. If it is possible how can I do it?
3.Do article directories allow it?
4. Is it legit?
THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER.
N.B. ANSWER IF YOU KNOW IT VERY WELL.

Yahoo answers:

I remember getting away with signing up for a free blog on blogger and editing the html so it redirects to your affiliate link when you type in your site (http://www.XXXXX.blogspot.com)

You’ll have to search around for the redirect code.

With Ezine I would just put the link to your blog and forward from there. You can try a redirect with them but a lot of times if the page isn’t a top level page then they won’t accept it. Although, I have seen people use redirects and get away with it. I never have though. They must be kissing some ass or something. Other article directories will allow it but read the guidelines first to avoid a lot of rejection.

Another thing you can do is buy a cheap domain name from godaddy and ‘mask’ your affiliate link with your new domain name. This will force your new domain url to stay in view instead of the vendors url. Some companies do not allow this though but it will be stated in their ‘affiliate contract’. Godaddy makes it easy to mask the url. For instance my http://enlightenment-course.com is my masked url…and http://enlightenmentcourse.com is the actual vendors url. I just added a dash between the words.

I wouldn’t use blogger because you could lose those domain names down the road and then your ‘bridge’ would be lost. It would work for right now though.

I own my own websites and this is the page redirect I use:

content=”0;url=affiliate link here”>
optional text here

Good luck!

John asks…

A question about affiliates, internet marketing, direct mail?

I have found a product overseas, that i would like to promote here in the uk.

Its a self help course, and the owner runs an affilate programme that pays £200 each referall.

I would prefer to do a direct mail offer, as i believe i have a list, that i could promote the product to.

Anyone have any experience of affiliate marketing or direct mail experience.

I have purchased courses seminars before with the top uk guys, andrew reynolds, simon coulson, but if truth be told, im still a bit of a novice.

Any advice would be grateful, thanks

Yahoo answers:

I know of affiliates making equal profits from direct mail postcard campaigns. There are demographically target mailing lists available for rent, I don’t know U.K. Sources or regulations, i the U.S. Postal mail is less regulated than email, the central directory of mailing lists is NextMark, working with a list of high converting prospects, perhaps with a prior buying history, makes an otherwise losing campaign a winner.

Some campaigns direct people to call a tole free with a recorded message, some people prefer the case of a recoded presentation over a telemarketer.

One common practice is to buy a reasonably short, somewhat related domain that’s shown on the postcard and setup with a redirect with your affiliate link right to the merchant’s page.

Simple black print on pastel postcards ofter convert better than graphic magazine ad looks.

Ken asks…

What are my chances of acceptance? (Details inside)?

Hello!

I’m hoping that someone out there may be able to give some insight into my chances of acceptance at these schools.

1. UCLA
2. USC (Southern California)
3. UCI
4. UCR
5. UCM
6. CSU Long Beach

(These are in order of preference)

I’m currently a junior who will be applying to a university right after graduation. I’m a Northern California resident (but would like to move southward for personal reasons) and was also born here. My high school is recognized by many universities as quite rigorous and excellent for a public school.

I’m hoping to major in Biology (which I will be taking as an AP next year) and perhaps go into Dentistry or some branch of it.

GPA: 3.5 Unweighted(currently) will probably be around 3.6/3.7 after some grades are adjusted after the year is over (AP affecting final grade, etc.). Around 3.9 Weighted (will also be higher once adjusted)

SAT: 2040 (will be retaking)

SAT II: 4 different subjects (will be taking soon)

ACT: undecided on whether to take it or not

Number of Honors Courses: 4

Number of AP Courses: 3 (Will be taking 4 more next year)

I went from taking almost zero honors classes in the beginning of high school to an increasing amount of honors and AP’s in sophomore and (this) junior year. Therefore, my GPA suffered a little because of these classes. I’m no brilliant genius by nature so tackling some of these courses has proven to be more difficult than what I was used to.

Extras:
-Sport before entering High School
-300+ hours of community service
-Member of service group for 3 years
-Volunteer at the same place for 3 Years
-President of a school club
-Played the piano for well over 10 years
-6 years of outside-of-school (in addition to the same amount in-school) foreign language instruction (In what most consider to be the most difficult East Asian language)
-2 years of instruction in another difficult East Asian language
-1 College course in East Asian History
-Participation in a brief, government-affiliated program to study abroad in Asia

Additional:
-California resident
-Underrepresented minority (no doubt)
-can receive amazing recommendation letters outside from teachers
-many experiences and notable things to write about in my college application essays
-Again, my high school is considered to be quite rigirous in its course work and the teachers are challenging
-I’m hoping to be the first in my family to go to an outstanding school and really pursue a career that will ultimately be financially successful and personally fulfilling.

Unfortunately, my grades are not as magnificent as those of other students who will be applying to these universities; however, I am interested in knowing what kind of chances I have to my top schools. I’ve checked many scatter grams, statistics, etc. and also realize that there is no sure-fire way to predict where exactly I will be accepted, but I hope that someone will be able to give me some indication (mostly to ease my stress). I am also hoping that my extra-curriculars (although not extensive) will give me some sort of boost, especially my volunteering and trip abroad (which opened my eyes to many new things I was previously unaware of). I am very impressed with my achievements in the area of foreign language and am very passionate about my experiences with it. It is really what allowed me to have as many opportunities as I’ve had, and I feel extremely blessed.

As for my interests, I would say I have interests leaning more towards the artsy/creative side, things I’m naturally good at. However, dentistry has always fascinated me (as Biology also has) and I can say that I have no issues looking and probing around anyone’s mouth.

I tried to add as many details as possible; however, it’s impossible to give you my entire personality over the internet. But, I hope that someone will be able to tell me what realistic chances I have at these schools.

Thank you so much!
Mistake in the 3 paragraph: I will be ATTENDING a university after my graduation from high school…I will obviously be APPLYING before that.

Yahoo answers:

Well, your credentials are quite impressive and could get you into many schools. If you want the ones you have listed above then your first priority is to to bring your unweighted GPA up at least to a 3.75 (preferably higher), colleges look at the unweighted GPAs and really don’t care to much about weighted. As with the SAT you need a 2200+ to have a good chance. As for taking the ACT, take it the test are completely different and you could submit them both give them a better view of how you perform on different types of standardized test and gives you to shots at getting approval by test score as opposed to one. As for the SAT II, I am not familiar with the point system that they use,so my advice is to take the highest possible score and take 15% or 100 points off and aim for that, but ultimately go for the highest possible score. You will need incredible recommendation letters, as well as a killer essay. As for your Extra’s the only thing that’s holding you back is your lack of high school sports…if you could get in any sport this or next year it’s going to greatly increase your chances…your other credentials look good because your not applying to Ivy Leagues. If you were I was going to suggest a couple other things that Ivy’s like. As for your experiences…use them in your essay, I have seen some killer essays, and for you wanting UCLA, I would suggest that you write at least 5-7 page essay, most UCLA students I have talked to say their paper was about that length. Be very descriptive in your writing this is really a huge thing to the admissions council.

now ask yourselves. who benefitted from the attacks on 9/11 and the “war on terror”
9.1% is hardly even close to being 100% of running abc, cbs, nbc, fox, cnn, msnbc, cnbc, new york times, washington post, etc. the list goes on forever. the fact is 96% of the world’s media are controlled by jews. this is a fact.
these names listed aren’t simple journalists. THEY ARE CEO’s or OWNERS of the media outlet
andy, if only jews read newspapers or watched the news on television, i would say you have a point. otherwise, you still didn’t prove any of these jews aren’t ceo’s or owners of media outlets.
do you people think today’s media is not biased? any muslim that picks up an arm is considered a “terrorist” even if he is simply defending his family from occupation or threat. today’s media wants to pretend to be against this war on terror, when in fact, the only man running for president that would stop it, they label crazy. israel and the jews are america’s biggest problem today. jews are not elite, they just have you think they are. throughout history, including today, jews have been the center of the world’s biggest problems. the jews are the only beneficiaries to 9/11. hell, larry silverstein turned a 200 million dollar investment into a 7 billion dollar return in 6 short weeks. amazing. i simply don’t like for their to be one voice among the media. and yes, ceo’s do make policy. including what type of mentality to hire. i wouldn’t want all ceo’s to be all male, or all female, or all white or all black. but when you have cnn, abc, cbs, fox, nbc, msnbc, and most all
and most all major newspapers in america, and the world for that matter, run by a very small minority, you will not get the whole truth. for example, when was the last time you read a story in mainstream news of an israeli sniper shooting a 15 year old girl hanging clothes out to dry on her roof and her 12 year old brother feeding pigeons in the neck. or how many of you have heard of the american girl that got run over by an israeli military bulldozer that was demolishing palestinian homes in the jewish, err, i mean mainstream, media.

Yahoo answers:

I’m not sure about the religion aspect nor do i care. Its true our media is controlled to influence us and brainwash us. The real problem is CFR it undermines our country. I believe Ron Paul to be the best choice for America. He is the only experienced candidate that isn’t part of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). This organization is big business, big money and controls most media outlets. Instead do a search about them. To me it seems like they want to take our ever decreasing constitutional rights away and put in a dictator/puppet of their choice. Eventually they want a one world govt, controlled by them of course. America’s military is their policy making attack dog, hence some of the past wars and current war, our lives = their profit. If he is not elected we may become the North American Union instead of the USA, have a big ass highway run through the country, and instead of the US dollar the Amero. There may be more consequences/theories but I’m too lazy to type. So don’t take my word for it, do your own research. You can check his campaign website for his stance on issues. Also check out youtube for other info. CFR the real terrorist is a threat to our national security. Ron Paul deserves our support. Vote wisely. Good Luck

Donald asks…

Why are there so many Jews in the media?

The most effective component of Jewish connection is probably that of media control. It is well known that American public opinion molders have long been largely influenced by a handful of powerful newspapers, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, owned respectively by the Sulzbergers, Meyers, and the Pulitzers, (all Jewish families).

In the contemporary world, organized American Jewish lobbying groups and deeply committed Jews in the Bush administration and the media are behind the pro-Israel U.S. foreign policy that is leading to war against virtually the entire Arab world.

You answered your own question. It is to force Americans to support Israel and leach away at billions of our dollars, while covering up facts and spreading propoganda at the same time. Almost mimicking the Holocaust. I think its hilarious that Jews have convinced us Christians to hate Muslims. Muslims have more respect for Jesus Christ than ANY Jew. Most Muslims even observe Christmas. Jews don’t even want to let us say “Merry Christmas”, not to mention they consider Jesus Christ a joke.

Amazon Affiliate Program – Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Saturday, 15 May, 2010

Chris asks…

Affiliate and CPM Blog?

Hello.

I read about CPM, cost per thousand.
I understand that you will get paid every 1,000 visits in my blog with this ad.
If I want to apply for this type of ad, do I have to first do like an interview or evaluation?
Ex) Do I have to give my Blog URL and show them which space I’m going to put their ad?
They determine/change the price by the number of access on my blog I usually have, right?

Another question is about Amazon affiliate program.
Basically, there is an option that lets me find a product from amazon and put an ad of that product, right?
Is this recommended at all?

I’m thinking about having 1 CPM ad, a affiliate from membership service in a website, and another 1 or 2 at most.

Thank you.
I am studying to work with web development, so I have some idea of SEO and am interested in learning more by actually having this blog for first time.
This blog is gonna be about anime, so the affiliate I wanna have will be related to anime.
I am studying to work with web development, so I have some idea of SEO and am interested in learning more by actually having this blog for first time.
This blog is gonna be about anime, so the affiliate I wanna have will be related to anime.

One additional question:
Would it be better to start blog with 1 or 2 affiliate ads, and after there is some constant access, add CPM and maybe additional affiliate?

I read that not having any ads in beginning is not good because you lose chance and some of repeat readers can feel disappointed to see ads when later I add.

Yahoo answers:

Yes, there are ads where you can earn money by just having them sit there — these are usually called CPM (Cost Per Mille = cost per thousand impressions) or pay-per impression ads. However, in practice, to make much money this way you will need to have many thousands of visits per month to your blog.

If your traffic gets to this level, in most cases you will be able to make more money through contextual (AdSense, YPN, Chitika, Bidvertiser, etc.) ads anyway.

Two other revenue sources you can look at are CPA (Cost Per Action) offers and affiliate marketing. Most CPA offers consist of getting leads (that is, the user has register for something by supplying an email address, zip code, or other info) and are theoretically easier than affiliate marketing because you don’t need to generate a sale, only a submission of one or more forms. However, CPA offers usually pay less than affiliate sales do.

Affiliate marketing is generally better than CPA stuff in terms of revenue potential, but to get the sales you will need to think about who your visitors are and match up your content with some type of product that has an affiliate program. There are tons of affiliate programs out there; just sign up with Clickbank, Commission Junction, and/or Amazon and you will have more products to promote than you will know what to do with.

If you manage to acquire some search engine optimization (SEO) skills, all of the above ways of generating revenue will become much easier because you will be able to attract targeted traffic to your blog. With targeted traffic and a little bit of market research, you will be better able to convert visits into clicks, leads, and sales more easily and efficiently than someone who just has a mediocre personal blog and doesn’t care about SEO.

As you may have figured out by now, making good money from a blog requires learning some new things, patience, persistence, and yes even a little bit of that dreaded thing called “work”. Anyone who says that making money on the Internet is not a “real job” simply has no clue about what a full-time webmaster’s life is really like.

Mandy asks…

What is the best affiliate program?

I already have one with amazon.com, but are they’re any other good ones?

Yahoo answers:

There are thousands. It depends on your interests and on the content of your web site or sites.

Amazon has a large affiliate program, but it pays very low commissions (something like 4% – 8%). There are affiliate programs that pay much higher commission rates than that.

Here are a couple of web sites that list many affiliate programs with information about each one. Good luck!

Betty asks…

Rule of thumb Average earnings per impression for website AdSense or affiliate? $.01? .001? per page view?

For a blog or forum, how much can a page owner expect to earn via Google AdSense/Amazon affiliate or other affiliate program for each page view? For average? Semi-targeted ad… like most sites

Is it a penny to page view?

1/10 of penny per page view?

I’m hoping to get 1,000 page views per month and wondering what the Rule of Thumb is… there must be an average that people use?

Yahoo answers:

Yea the 1/10 penny sounds like the right ballpark figure, one example using better paying than adsense I cite as a 1 in a million blogger, websiteoutlook estimate perezhilton, the guy who gossips about celebs and scribbles on their photos, makes $5970 from 1,989,150 page views a day, or 0.3 cents per view.

Richard asks…

Can you use Blog sites for affiliate programs or adsense?

ok i am new to the money online thing. I was just wondering if you can use a blog site, like my blogger.com blog for amazon affiliates and google adsense? and if you can would I actually be able to bring in an income?

Yahoo answers:

Yes, you can. But Adsense do not allow any other text advertising that looks like Adsense to be displayed on the same page. Amazon has a type of text ads like Adsense. Make sure you don’t use them together.

John asks…

Are Affiliate Marketing Programs (like Amazon) worthwhile?

I have a website address that has to do with intelligence and was thinking of setting it up in the future to retail items that are mind building related, but being short on cash to purchase product I was thinking of starting as a guide for items that can be bought through Affilate Marketing Programs.
I am just concerned that people won’t start their repeat searches for new items at my site.

Yahoo answers:

They can be.

Linda asks…

affiliate program?

affiliate program
I want to join an affiliate program.
Can anyone suggest a good site, besides Amazon that promise bucks
if we help them do something.
Where can i learn more about using affiliate program to make money?
Any advice is welcomed! Thx in advance

Ken asks…

How do I report affiliate spammers?

I’ve noticed that in any question that refers to a physical product, there are always affiliate spammers that reply with a generic off-topic answer that doesn’t really answer the question that was asked — they just want to get their link into the answer so people click on them. This just adds “noise” to yahoo answers, and I find it to be annoying.

The most common one appears to be Amazon‘s affiliate program. Although I report these users to Yahoo when they answer one of my questions, is there a way to report them to Amazon? I figure that reporting them to Yahoo does no good — they just open a new account, but making them forfeit their Amazon Affiliate account and open a new one will make it more painful for them.

I didn’t see any obvious affiliate abuse reporting URL on Amazon‘s site.
Here’s some examples, check Cheetuh08 answers on these questions. He doesn’t answer the question that was asked and always gives the exact same “Definatley get the iPad!” answer with his affiliate links.

Yahoo answers:

It may not be possible. I have a similar situation; I sell on craft site and I see a number of sellers from there posting spam links to their shop pages here on YA. I report them, they get removed – and come back with new accounts. When I posted on the craft site asking what, if anything, I could do about this, not only was I told there was NOTHING I could do – my posting was removed by THEIR staff as improper. They say that they can only control their OWN site and not what their users do on other sites. Amazon may feel the same way and refuse to sanction their affiliates.

Some possibilities:

https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/contact?ie=UTF8&subject=

That is the ‘contact us’ form for Amazon Affiliates. Maybe you can use it to report?

This is seems to be a reporting page if you think an Associate is not behaving properly. That may be more appropriate to your issue:

https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/t15/a7?ie=UTF8&pf_rd_t=501&ref_=amb_link_126313_11&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=&pf_rd_s=assoc-center-2&pf_rd_r=&pf_rd_i=assoc_help_t15

Lisa asks…

How to embed an Amazon Affiliate link into a flag image?

I have signed up to amazon affiliate programs for various countries and I am using flag images to link to the product in my visitor’s local amazon store.

I don’t want to include the name of the book in my product link as I’m using a flag image instead.

I would just like to know how to properly embed the affiliate product link into my flag image.

This is my flag image code:

USA style=”width: 32px; height: 32px;” src=”images/usflag.png”>

This is the affiliate product link: (shortened)

Book Name

I read that modifying amazon affiliate links will stop them from working, so just want to make sure I do it properly so as not to mess it up.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Yahoo answers:

Deborah,

Simply put your affiliate URL into the href URL used for the image.

Change your flag image code from this:

USA

To this:

USA

US affiliates can verify that the URL tracks properly by using the Link Checker in your Amazon account. I would image the same functionality exists for UK associates, too. In the US login there’s a tab at the top labeled Links & Banners and in the drop down you select Link Checker. Enter the affiliate URL in the text box and Amazon will tell you whether it tracks properly.

Good luck!

Donald asks…

Amazon Associates?

Have any of you tried this program, if so is it as good as it sounds? I am wanting to use this on my site to make a little extra money. I just want to hear about it from those who have used it or know soneone who has. Here is a link to it.

http://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join

Yahoo answers:

I’ve tried it, but haven’t created any proffit yet. You need to have lots of traffic on your site to eventually get someone to buy the item from amazon. You only get money when someone buys the item and not based on clicks or views. Depending on the target audience of your site, it may or may not be a good thing.

Amazon Affiliate Program – Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Friday, 30 April, 2010

Carol asks…

What States has Amazon pulled its affiliate program from?

Amazon.com ‘s affiliate program has been discontinued by them in what states?

Thanks.

Yahoo answers:

I have only heard of New York and the just passed HB 10-1193 in Colorado that moves toward charging online stores a sales tax for businesses that have a “presence” in their state, which includes affiliates. Amazon sent an alert to North Carolina affiliates in June 09 that similar pending legislation might effect them too.

Lizzie asks…

Can I sign up for Amazon Affiliate program if I don’t have a website?

I have an idea of posting Amazon Affiliate links on Craigslist and base.google.com instead of setting up a website. Is it allowed or possible?

Yahoo answers:

NO

The Operating Agreement of the Amazon Associates Program specifically says “YOUR SITE” — meaning the associate must have a site. They first review the site for its suitability with the Amazon.com program — if you don’t have a site, then they have nothing to review

http://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/agreement/ref=amb_link_597002_1/002-1307555-1149622

PLUS, when you apply, there is a whole section about your website asking for the following information

What is the name of your Web site?
What is the URL of the main Web site you use to send traffic to Amazon?
How many individuals are in your organization?
Select the categories that best fit your site
Briefly describe your site, including the type of items you intend to list.
Primary method for generating referrals

If you’re going to put Craigslist and Google Base as your site, you won’t get approved because those are not sites you own.

Ruth asks…

Were do I go to join the amazon affiliate program?

Yahoo answers:

Trying to figure out what to do from scratch can become a bit much. But after several attempts it gets easier I found the how to make money as an amazon affiliate step by step guide quite helpful.

Robert asks…

How will Amazon.com Affiliate program tax me?

Why do i have to give my social security number to Amazon.com to be an affiliate for them? Will the IRS tax me? WHAT IS IT FOR??

Yahoo answers:

The government is cracking down on Amazon, and Ebay as well I think, so that people who sell a lot on these sites will now have to report that income. But it’s only if you sell above a certain dollar amount ($600 sounds right) or the number of transactions (I think Ebay is 100 transactions.)

William asks…

Amazon associates – affiliate program?

i signed up amazon associates program and im getting alota traffic but no clicks, so i was wondering if Amazon pays impressions or not.

Yahoo answers:

No, unfortunately Amazon doesn’t

James asks…

How To Promote My New Book (Amazon or Affiliate Program)?

I’m self-publishing my new book about to be published shortly through LightningSource. Here’s my dilemma as a self-published, self-marketing author:

1. Do I leave fulfillment to LightningSource/Amazon who will charge me 55% right off the top, leaving me with much smaller margins (the cost of the book will come from my share, the remaining 45%) and focus on just marketing the book? If I take this route, then I can’t do much for affiliates and Joint Venture partners, but reduces a lot of S&H overhead.

2. Do I do the fulfillment myself, selling the book for lower than Amazon, worrying about shipping and handling (especially international shipments, refunds, etc)? This approach will give help me pay decent amounts to affiliates, JV partners and bulk resellers, but increases my order- processing overhead.

What do you think?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Richard C,

The other problem with selling on Amazon is that Amazon will not share the buyer’s contact info with you (unless I’m wrong?).

So, I’m trying to figure out what’s the best way to market on Amazon, as well as on my web site – but the major problem of doing it on my web site is figuring out the shipping price for international buyers.

Yahoo answers:

I think if you want more speific answers you should post the same question in the business and finance section. Trust me they know more than the people here.

Susan asks…

Does any one know about the amazon affiliates program? Are you really making money, Is it worth bothering with

If you know of any company like this that has the BBB stamp on it site please, tell me more!

Yahoo answers:

Well, they pay you when someone clicks on an ad on your site and makes a purchase. They pay you monthly, as long as you have at least $25 in commissions in your account. The only problem is getting people to go to your website and click through the Amazon ad. If you want to know a better way to make affiliate commissions, then send me an email.

Mandy asks…

Do you think www.joseph-amazon-store.co.nr is really an affiliate of Amazon Associates Program??

I have seen this website and seems to be associated with the Amazon associate program. I can see the Powered by Amazon logo at the left hand side of the page. It links directly to Amazon products. Wanted to know how far this is secure and reliable??

Yahoo answers:

Ofcourse yes!… When an Powered by Amazon logo is there in the website of an individual, it means that they are enrolled in some program of Amazon.com. In such cases, they may enrolled in the associate program or the webstore program. Seeing the site, it seems that this is connected to the Amazon.com website only.. Even the checkout process happens in Amazon which ensures that the site is secure…

Mary asks…

Can anyone tell me some websites that pay you to do surveys that are free?

I’ ve run into alot of survey sites where they want you to either pay or enroll into an affiliate program and then pay. I just want a no B.S. site where I can make a little extra cash for the holidays and not end up having to pay someone else in the long run.

Yahoo answers:

You have to be VERY careful! If you are looking to make a little bit of extra cash on the side and have time on your hands try cashcrate…
It gets lots of great reviews and you can google it…no one claims its a scam, because it isn’t! I’ve gotten paid and I’m happy I didn’t waste my time on a scam site again [i've been scammed far too many times with Awsurveys and Panda research]!
Don’t sign up with any site that makes you pay to join! That is definitely a way to tell a scam artist! Also, google the name of the site you want to sign up with with the word scam next to it to see if it has been claimed to scam people!

So sign up here: http://www.cashcrate.ubb.cc/

you’ve got nothing to lose! You can quit after a while if you want! I suggest you get a gmail account to sign up with because you may be hit with a lot of spam mail (no viruses and such just annoying advertisers lol)
i’m 16 by the way…so if i can do it, so can you =]
no personal information required [credit card, bank account, social security]
pays with Paypal or Check [i suggest paypal because it pays faster]

best of luck to you and whatever you want to do?

Laura asks…

need HELP on finding the BEST affiliate program?

Does anyone know a web site which offer affiliate program that gives out a free replica of their website on reselling their products?

Just like TemplateMonster.com and HerbalBiz.com

Hope some one could drop some idea here.. I do research already on yahoo and google but got no luck… I dont even really know what kind of affiliate are those that gives away a free or paid affiliate program which I can have Own Replica of their Website just like TemplateMonster.com and HerbalBiz.com..

Thanks in advance guys..

Yahoo answers:

I’m not sure why you want an affiliate program that issues you a web site. These are generally not the best marketing methods. You end up with a million identical web sites and the search engines hate them.

However, there is an excellent web site that lists tons of affiliate programs and rates their effectiveness. Some of them probaby issue web sites to users. The link is below. I suggest you check it out and you will find a program that suits you.

I have also included a link to the affilaite programs that I personally promote with considerable success. My page also explains how affiliate programs work.

Good luck with this.

John asks…

Any profitable affiliate program that allows me to earn money by signing up REFERRALS?

Any PROFITABLE affiliate program that allows me to earn money by signing up REFERRALS?

In other words, I need to find out a program which pays me for the revenue of the people I sign up into the program.

Thanks,
Please only suggest SERIOUS and PROFITABLE programs. I’m not an internet marketing NEWBIE so I won’t fall for things that don’t work like the programs the first two guys suggest. Just by looking for a second at those two sites you can see they’re scams.

Yahoo answers:

The online survey site I am a part of does not have any fees and registration is fee.
It in fact does really pay as other users have proven so.
I have already made $20 and I just started two days ago. Payment is a check that comes to you in the mail. :)
Minimum age to join is 13.

I have been a member of Neobux for a long time and I have decided to start my own PTC site for educational purposes and profit.

My question here is, how will I get paid? Do i have to sign up to affiliate programs that pay for each click my site will link to them or will I get paid for every referal I get?

please explain as much as possible as to how i will get paid
thanks

Yahoo answers:

1at off you need money to have servers

then you need to know javscripting and other types of web design html and css style sheets and to make sure each person can only view the links one at time

ooo yeah and a ton of money to start off with and lots of advertsisng needed for advertisers or marketers to pay YOU for each click viewed

they would pay YOU like 10 cents per view you pay members 1 to 2 cents per view and you profit the rest

Betty asks…

What are good affiliate adverstising programs that you can get paid? surveys? bloggers? or other products ?

Please give me the ones that work. I sign with a few and didn’t pay and my friends too. So please give me good ones that do pay. Thanks

Best Internet Marketing Tools – Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Sunday, 18 April, 2010

Charles asks…

What is the best analytics best practice for 2010 and beyond?

Hello we are a new start up and we want to be sure we have implemented the best analytics and measurement tools available to us for internet marketing.

We have google analytics and yahoo statistics. We want to get the best experience and at the same time isolate all of our exposure points for improvements.

We want our customer experience to be fun friendly and enticing.

Can you please help us ensure we are successful and aware of every possibility by letting us know which best practices are most important and relevant to todays market and beyond.

Yahoo answers:

Google analytics is the best of the free analytics packages that are provided by an external company. Piwiki is a little better, but you have to run an installation of it yourself.

If you really want to ensure you get the most from your traffic you need a company like Omniture to track your traffic and test various small changes to your site. Check out “Site Catalyst” and “Test and Target”, but they are going to cost you money.

Gutta House Enterprise the new Death Row Records? ?

There has been a few people who keep considering my independent record label the new Death Row Records which Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre… Three people who I would dream to work with but no disrespect to Suge Knight he let his camp fall apart.. I have no ambition to build my record label to be anything like Death Row Records, G-Unit, or any other record label that considers themselves Gangsta Rap Labels, what Gutta House is about is putting RAP MUSIC on the billboard charts in a independent way, building this record label from the ground up I have been recruiting top notch talent and putting together a great team of producers, promoters, entertainers, and also building some companies under the enterprise keys the hint early that we are more then just a record label we are a enterprise building a clothing company, independent film company, internet video tv show(s), club promotions, and plan to help build some of the internet radio stations out there and make sure there are more people taken advantage of the new way things are becoming because soon there will be a way to get internet radio inside your car and you know major things are starting to happen for internet radio stations already and Gutta House Records is building a special online distribution network for our fans that will give them exclusive gutta house mixtapes free with purchase of any of our albums which you will find cheaper here then any other place distributing our music over the internet and there is much more the Gutta House Enterprise is building and putting together for the people out there who love real hip hop/rap music. We are a record label first, but threw the company we are building different resources to help build artist and help put together a unique tools for artist under our wing and artist out there in the industry who are trying to make it big and prove for real hard work pays off in a major way because everyone sells out to major record deals but what if you could really do it big on the independent world? Underground is on a major come up with the internet marketing tools available to everyone now a days…

How do I know how much to sell my aromatherapy products for??

Is there some marketing tool on the internet

Yahoo answers:

Hi,

I am a webmaster of aromatherapy website and I don’t sell any essential oils. But according to me, to value an oil you have to look on many factors, such as the origin of the flower or fruit itself. And how much do you use to make a bottle of it.

The condition of the plants itself. It is an organic ones or not.

That’s why there isn’t any tool to determine how much you should sell your aromatherapy products.

The most important things is research the market. And for the beginning do some promotions. This you’ll have people want to try your products. And don’t forget to ask a feedback. Keep doing this and eventually you’ll know your products value and the market respond.

One thing you should do is always give your customer your best products.

Joseph asks…

Robert asks…

i dont have the money to set up a full web for my online business what else can i use via online marketing?

Any advise about other resources for online business marketing and promoting my phone on line services without having to invest in a website? Would typepad, blogging pages or audio acrobat , teleconferencing sites be of use. It seems there are alot of add ons for websites that you can incorporate into your website but i dont have the money to do it all. could you recommend an online marketing and business tool to get my life coaching and affiliate project out on the internet without a full web? or Is there a reasonable web resource that includes the interactive stuff like audio , teleconferecing and ezines?

Yahoo answers:

You don’t need to give up on having a website because of money.
There are several free host providers where you can easily set up a website. Here are some of them:

www.freewebs.com
www.biz.ly
www.bravenet.com
www.doteasy.com
www.50webs.com
www.freehostia.com

I think that Blogging is a good idea and it’s free. Depending on your product, Ebay is also a good option.

I suggest you do a Google search for audio and teleconference resources, I think you’ll find some for free.

Affiliate Programs That Pay – Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Monday, 12 April, 2010

James asks…

Does anyone know an affiliate program that actually pays that doesn’t require a buildup time?

I am looking for an affiliate program that pays decent money that doesn’t make you earn a certain amount or make you wait 60 or 90 before cashing out. Does anyone know of any like this?

Yahoo answers:

I am with MoreNiche, You can make up to $175 per sale with them. They pay every 2 weeks, but as with all programs that are legit, there is a holding period before they pay out. My first check was $390 and I got it 5 weeks after joining.

They have a $100 minimum for sending you a check, but if you sign up with this link you can start with up to $45 in bonuses to get you going.

Linda asks…

Ever tried those online affiliate programs or getting paid to take surveys?

I’ve been wondering how well they work, if at all. Some affiliate programs I’ve seen are on websites for legitimate companies, like CompUSA, Staples, and I think Barnes & Noble.

As for the paid surveys, I’m less certain about those, because I don’t know who the companies are.

Anyway, just thought I’d ask if others have tried to use those ideas as extra income…or what others think of such ideas.

Yahoo answers:

Yes and they are crap. I have been with one for more than 2 years, and I’ve been to only one paid survey, I did get $80 but one survey in a year or more is not a way to make a living.

William asks…

How is AdultFriendFinder Affiliate Program? Do they really pay?

I started a week ago. I am working in the Pay-per-Click option. My stats show that I already made $55 till now. Minimum payout is $50. So I want to first get this money, then continue with promoting.
But I receive a message from them that says my conversion rate is not sufficient, so my account might be converted to %age option.
What is you experience with them? Do they really pay or keep making excuses and delaying the payment?

Yahoo answers:

They never paid me they did the same thing. They kept making excuses. I tried this new progam and they pay on time and you can make good money check it out. Http://bit.ly/dhVczt
Or go to http://legalhustlin.blinkweb.com

Ken asks…

where can I find a free online game site that has an affiliate program that pays for new member free signups?

I’m looking for a free game site affiliate program, like the one that uproar.com used to have. The affiliate program has to pay per free signup and accept new members from the USA, it has to that pay me for each new visitor I send them. I have alot of people coming to my site looking for game show games that they can play online.

The affiliate program I’m looking for must be a reliable payer. . I’m not looking for a site where you get games on a free trial basis, been there done that, it’s not a money maker. I want to get paid when People sign up to the free game site that my site referrs them to.

I am also intrested ina free affiliate program that pays for free signups to retro online games.

If there is any web site owners out there that has a link to what Im looking for ,send it to me please. I’ll look at it and decide if it’s what I want. If it is I’ll even join under you as an affiliate referal as long as its free for me to join. Sorry no Casino programs needed,

Yahoo answers:

There are no free game sites that offer affiliate opportunities (not to my knowledge any way) The reason is simple why would they pay you if they are not getting paid.

However there are 100′s that offer free trials and you will get paid for reffering someone to sign up for a free trial. Just use http://sale0636.reseller.hop.clickbank.net to find them. I think realarcade.com offer what you are looking for (well they did at one point)

As you have a website you might want to include more than one affiliate service (increases your chances) Just make sure you protect your affiliate links from affiliate thieves. Just read the click bank help files it explains how to do all this. My advise is to choose 2 or 3 that fit your profile dont go for second best. Make sure that your chosen affiliate program that you choose has a really decent layout i.e you dont need to be a rocket scientist to work out how to sign up (it seems that some of them you do i spent 30 minutes attempting to find a sign up function on one lol)

I would like to point out that game affiliation is extremelly difficult to generate sales from (competition is vast) your website may not be enough to generate the leads you would hope.

Check out http://www.homeincomeprofits.com grab your free online promotion guide there also you might want to look into the affiliation guides as well.

I hope i have made sense just remember dont go fro second best EVER (most affiliates fail because they do).

Ps all affiliate programs are free to join

Donald asks…

How to make money as a kid online?

I’m 13 years old, and my charisma is not high so I need to make money online. I want to invest in something, like stocks, but I cant do that for personal reasons. So, I’m not sure what to do By the way, blogging just won’t work for certain reasons.

Yahoo answers:

At 13 you should be talking to your parents concerning this issue, You have to have money to invest in stocks and can lose your money in an instant.

Other idiots will come along with their “call me” scams do not be taken in by them.

Sandy asks…

How can you make money online as a kid?

Hi,

I need to get about $5,000 dollars. I am about 13 years of age and have done a little online. Please be specific that could make some reasonable cash. Thanks….
I am a youtube partner but I get extremely low revenue

Yahoo answers:

There are some online companies which are genuine and good…,….
But unfortunately I can’t give you the links as posting such links are against the rule of Yahoo Answers. But if you learn to
use google you will definitely find many.

Adverbux – http://adverbux.com/register.php?ref=23890

the WIN Network – http://19440.yourwinoffice.com/

Moony List – http://www.moonylist.com/

Well, there are many ways to make money online. One really easy way (but may take some time) is Adverbux. You can play games and the highest scorers win money, and you will get put into the daily cash drawing. You also get paid (small amounts at a time of course) to view their ads or complete surveys and such. Just sign up under my referral link below.

Another way you can make money online is through the WIN Network. Sign up for free and you can watch presentations to get put into the weekly cash prize drawing. You can also upgrade your account and make money for every person you get into your down line (can add up to a lot of money). You can then upgrade again and get paid matching checks of everyone in your down line. So you can get paid thousands a month. Just get as many people into your down line as possible! Sign up link is below.
You can also buy signups for your down line on Adverbux (link below) to speed up the process for The WIN Network.

Lastly, there is a solution for you to save money on online products. Moony List is an awesome website that actually gives you money back for buying through their site (any ordinary products)…You get up to 30% cash back for buying products so that is a really great deal and could save you a ton of money. Link is below.

How can I make money as a kid?

I’m eleven and I need to make about RM3,200 by 8th December 2010 for a vacation trip. So far, I have RM1,022 in my savings account. But what if there’s an emergency? My mum says I’m only allowed to take half of the RM1,022 just in case. I need some ideas that don’t involve baby-sitting, pet-sitting, dog walking, online surveys, lemonade stands and all that.

PS: I can’t do work for my parents as they have already payed RM60,00 for tickets and accommodation so I have to get my own spending money. I’m not old enough to get a “real” job so I need some help.
I live in Malaysia, which is on the equator so I can’t rake lawns (there’s no Autumn here) and I can’t shovel snow (no Winter either).
I live in Malaysia, which is on the equator so I can’t rake lawns (there’s no Autumn here) and I can’t shovel snow (no Winter either).

Yahoo answers:

This is quite difficult indeed! Depending on your laws, you may be able to do what would be considered student work at a student wage or paid direct in cash (sometimes referred to as a under the table job). These jobs will operate like babysitting. You find some one in need of your service, negotiate terms of position, payment, hours, etc Some locations will allow students part time work for less than minimum wage if its half hours volunteer (without pay) and half hours with pay or a specific lump sum per day (I.E $50 per day). This is best to ask around your friends parents, teachers, trusted adults etc A lot of family owned business’ will bend the minimum age of labor rule to help you out. I would come up with skills you have to offer and find jobs that you would be good at. If baby sitting and dog walking is not your cup of tea, maybe tutoring, washing dishes, assisting with close shop clean up at a local restaurant. At 11, it will be hard to find alternatives, but with some creativity and determination , you will be set for your vacation! Unfortunately, at 11 and without a full education, job selection will be limited. Tutoring, sitting and similar services, cleaning, and manual labor is generally what you will be restricted to. Just make sure you have your parents or a trusted adult oversee your terms of service and payment to ensure you do not get taken advantage of!

William asks…

Is tycoon cash flow a scam or legit way to make extra money online?

My wife showed me a video on YouTube of a kid talking to his mother. Real popular video with 31,000,000 views. On the corner was an add for a way to make money. Claiming that the “system” can earn you $3500 a week or some crazy number.

I went to the page to satisfy my wife who asks me “why can’t you convert your online time to income?”

so that was a link to tycoon cash flow.
I don’t know what to think of this program. It asks you for like, $49 to start which is not a lot of money but right now that $50 seems like a lot to us (the economy in Vegas sucks worse than the rest of the country) and so i am really skeptical to pay it.

It doesn’t seem like it’s mlm (multiple level marketing AKA pyramid scheme) and claims to be a program that anyone could in theory do for free if they had the know how.
What they “sell” you is 14 videos that explain how to place ads to drive traffic to products you do not sell but you make a comission from a second party selling the product

It does promise huge profits though. That I am very wary of. There is no get rich quick system.

I read a review that was titles “tycoon cash flow SCAM” but then said that it makes money! Talk about confusing. The review says that it will generate Income but definitely not as fast as the creators imply.

Then I get an email from the same site (the main tycoon cash flow site) after I did not “act now!!” and purchase at first offering me a FREE course because I am their “friend” (haha!) and it is about six long pages that do seem full of info but no demands to “buy now!”

Has anyone tried this? I am a computer “nerd” and have been online since 1995 or so. Don’t need to take any wooden nickles but i do want to have an honest shot at now being cheated and making my utility bills (phone/tv/electric) go away with some extra income.

Thanks for reading. I am not affiliated with the program at all. I am not trying to get a hundred replies from ppl that want to sell me their system. I just want some opinions.

Thanks again

Steven in Las Vegas

Yahoo answers:

Its just another of the countless scams.

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.

You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as “work at home” because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Helen asks…

Ways to make money as a 13 yearold kid?

I would like some fast, eaisy or good paying ideas i am a 13 yearold girl and if you could think of some ieas that is not lemon aid stand, baby/pet sitting, yard work, garage sale, or wash a car/aimals BUT if you cant think of other ideas then could you help me out on how much to charge for the different ideas……. PS i dont want any online website stuff……….Thanks

Yahoo answers:

What are your hobbies. Think about which of your hobbies you can turn into a business and ask around to see if people would be willing to buy. Then go from there

Joseph asks…

how to make money fast as a 12 year old kid???? i need help?

i dont want no lemon aid stands, online crap, garbage take out, babysitting or dog sitting,or the paper
i want somethin else
like any other jobs a 12 year old could do?!!?!?!

Yahoo answers:

WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I’ve been paid by so you won’t get scammed. They’re all reliable and I’ve never had a problem with them. (I’ve been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they’re easy. You won’t get rich but they definitely help with bills :)

John asks…

can any1 tell me how i can make money fast online with out paying for it?

im in need of money fast as im a stay at home mum of 2 kids an expecting my 3rd in 3 months and im trying to make money to get all my bills payed car payed of (as in need of new car) an heaps more stuff if u can help me please ….

Yahoo answers:

Hmmmm, get rich quick…let’s see. Some people actually save money till they have enough for what they want. (Car payment).

Poor people work for their money. Rich people have their money work for them. (Like the rich people you’ll get your car loan from).

Try reading “The millionaire next door” or “Rich dad poor dad,” then ask again.

Linda asks…

How to make good money really really fast?

okay, I’ll make it simple. I ? Three Days Grace. And I’m an obsessed fan gone crazy. (not literally) And I need some help on Making money fast so I can get the Three Days Grace zip-up hoodie that I REALLY REALLY want. I’ve tryied looking at different sites for help, but most of it I have to buy some book, or pay for some online job. But I dont have the money as it is, let alone for the jacket. I wanted to know if anyone has any really simple ways to making money online. One of them that i found on one of the sites was to make an ebook, but i’m not sure how well that will work. I love to write in all, but still. Is there any simple ways to make money online? that are ligal for kids to do?

Yahoo answers:

Create a website about something that you know a lot about (recipes, how to fix a car, photography, stamp collecting…). Then you can make money by running some ads on the site.

Internet Marketing Tools: Yahoo! Answers

Posted by on Saturday, 27 March, 2010

Ken asks…

Promoting network marketing online, what are the best result oriented tools are programs available?

I just got involved in a health and wellness company, and I am looking for the most effective, time saving and results delivering tools and are strategies to promote my business on the internet.

I am also looking for ways to promote internationally as well as domestically.

Yahoo answers:

Quit now and you will save the most cash and that is the most effective way to not lose money.

George asks…

Do you think these Internet marketing tool reviews are accurate?

Do you think the Internet marketing tool and guide reviews on http://gradingwebmasters.com are accurate?

Yahoo answers:

It looks like they have a listing of programs that are good and you can use to compare.
However depending on how familiar you are with internet marketing, reviews like that might not be very useful. Any program that you purchase doesn’t provide you all the required marketing tools, because they specialize in a few aspects only.

Internet marketing tools can be broadly classified in two categories:
1. On Page & 2. Off Page factors.

On Page – meaning it is on your page – factors like: Keywords in your Domain name, Headline, Description, Content. You need to optimize this to get a high Google Page Rank.
If you are not on page 1 of google search it is harder to earn money.

Off page factors has mainly to do with the backlinks, links from other web sites. The higher the authority of the web site, the higher your page will be ranked.
Let’s say if your web sites has a link from you friend’s site that is a new site, you will not get much credit for this. But if you have a backlink from a site with a Page Rank of 8, you will be ranked higher.
So the key is not quantity but quality, it is something like if you hang around with popular people, you must be popular too. Google likes popular sites!
Some of the authority sites are Wikipedia, DMOZ and all .edu and .gov (education and government sites – however, they usually don’t allow links to commercial sites)

These are just a few things you need to know first. So don’t purchase any program until you are familiar with all the basics of internet marketing and are quite comfortable to do it.

To learn on how to build a website in your spare time and develop it into a profitable one, you can access the free training – Ebooks and videos – at http://www.internet-marketingtools.biz/

Once you learn the basics, then you are better equipped to choose the best program for you

Hope this helps

Victor

Susan asks…

what are some “marketing” tools christians/jews use or used?

i need help with a project and i can’t seem to find an actual answer on the internet

Yahoo answers:

Judaism and Christianity are thoroughly different religions, both in theology and in the way we go about things.

Judaism doesn’t market itself. We have no doctrine of exclusive salvation, just the belief that every one should live as justly as they can. Those who sincerely wish to convert are welcomed. That’s all we do.

Sharon asks…

Explain the importance of the E. Marketing, benefits of using internet as a tool to reach the customers.?

Yahoo answers:

Considering that just over 80% of all internet users use search engines to find what they’re looking for it’s highly suggested that you have a website that is optimized and has a steady flow of new visitors every week.

As your business is probably brick and mortar and you’re only open 9am to 5pm (I’m guessing). This limits your target market as you’re only operating from ‘one street corner’.

The internet gives you the opportunity to go global obviously also depending on your product (this may limit your market). But never the less it still broadens your market.

Just to show you how it can help you, I’ve had a website for only 3 weeks now and I’m already on the first page of Google for certain keywords. If I had to get the same response from older more traditional advertising e.g. Newspaper, radio, TV it would’ve been so much more expensive and I probably would be flat broke.

There is a process that needs to be followed:
1) Development of an optimized professional website
2) Submission to search engines
3) Link building with other related websites and web directories
4) Constant updating of your website so it doesn’t appear old by the web crawlers (web crawlers can pick up activity within the site).

Betty asks…

Looking for an internet business with an affiliate programe built in for people to promote products.?

I am looking for a business model to set up an online company that can give me tools, products and resources and allows me to run an affiliate programe and grow the business.

Idealy a company that can provide a turnkey or whitelabell solution wherby you are provided with tools and resouces to build and promote the business using various internet marketing options.

Not a network marketing company or being an affiliate for some else. Its my baby and has leverage built in by affiliates working for me.

Thanks

Yahoo answers:

Internet is like anything else from cooking to cars to clothing. If the premade packages dont work for you then there is always the old do-it-yourself option.

The old affiliate program involved tracking hits on your webpage. If I have the logs for Any1Can.net then I can see hits. If I have a script that I want to have handle something then I can add to the end of the link such as Any1Can.net?this=something which creates a variable called “this” and puts the word “something” into it.

If I dont actually have a script and dont need the variable “this” it doesnt matter since the system will just ignore it. It doesnt hurt anything. If you have someone named Dommy who sends people to your shop then you can tell him to use the link of Any1Can.net/shop.html?sentby=dommy and you can easily pull all of the “sentby” references from the log whenever you want to reward your affiliates. And later, when you get too many to easily handle then you can go ahead and create a CGI script to collect those and process them to a spreadsheet or something.

If you set your shop to use something like PayPal shopping cart then I tihnk there are logs which can let you veirify that the person provided you an actual sale instead just a referral

Mary asks…

how internet can be utileze as an effective tool in promoting and marketing organization’s services?

Yahoo answers:

Internet marketing using blogs and webpages or article marketing or a combination of all three

Sandy asks…

Is Yahoo! Answers a ‘gold mine’ for marketing firms?

Is Yahoo! Answers one of the best internet tools out there for marketing firms to record and sell people’s opinions and/or thoughts to corporations?

Yahoo answers:

I’m not sure I would call it a “gold mine” or refer to as “the best” but it CAN be very effective if used properly.

Mandy asks…

How effective are these marketing strategies on you?

Reciprocity
a marketing tool where you give people something of value for free, they reciprocate by purchasing your product or service.
Ex. “get a free camera when you subscribe to our magazine for two years.”

No credit card requierd
“one month of free Internet service”
.” If the Internet service performs well, the prospective customer feels an obligation to sign up.

Scarcity
There is a limited amount of the item available. After those are gone, the item will not be available. “urgency” implies Scarcity. For example, “this offer will be honored only for a limited time”.

Commitment
A prospective customer makes that first commitment towards purchasing the product by requesting the free information. The free information they receive is designed to entice them to take the next step.

Have you ever been tricked by any of these scam and what do you think tricked you?

Yahoo answers:

None work on me.

Joseph asks…

I need your help please?

Can someone tell me where I can get a free internet marketing class on line or internet marketing tools for my page.

Thank You .. :)

Yahoo answers:

Your best bet is to perform a search of blogs that have the information that you seek. It may take some time, but you should be able to find blogs that will answer your questions. Just make sure that you do not pay for that advice.

I hope this helps.
