Google Rank – Does it Matter?

Posted by on Saturday, 21 January, 2012

Let’s face it, most people set themselves up with a traditional website or a blog in hopes of making money online. Since most online marketers just starting out have no idea of where to turn to for advice, they will in all likelihood perform a search engine query to learn about how to attract online traffic their website.

It won’t take the online marketer researching information long to realize that one of the most common aspects of attracting more traffic, is in ranking high enough on the search engine result pages, or the SERPs. There are tons of articles, reports and books that teach new online marketers methods of ranking higher. The purpose of almost all of these articles, reports and books, is to teach the online marketer how to optimize their site to rank well on Google.

Google Rank - Does it Matter?

For example, one guru might teach that the online marketer needs to learn how to completely optimize their website from the title, to the homepage, to the achieved pages, to the keywords. Another online marketing guru might teach that there are trophy phrases that will ensure that the online marketer will attract lots of online traffic, in order to make money. There are so many gurus out there that teach that the secret to making money online in found in your site’s Google rank. All of these gurus claim that they have the secret formula to making sure that your website will rank high enough in Google to make money.

However, what these gurus aren’t sharing is that while it is necessary to increase one’s online traffic, your Google rank doesn’t guarantee that the online traffic will convert, so that the online marketer can indeed make money. For example, an online marketer might invest in learning how to rank high for their keyword or for their niche. Many online marketers have been taught to focus on their Google ranking. Therefore, the online marketer will become obsessed with it. However, they miss the fact that while they might enjoy a high ranking for a time, and while the high ranking might introduce more financial prospects to one’s website, your Google rank doesn’t guarantee that these prospects will become customers, or that they will click on advertising links.

That’s not to say that page ranking or that Google ranking reports aren’t important. Again, an online marketer’s website has no chance of being found if they aren’t ranking high enough. However, the bottom line is that the money isn’t in the ranking status. The money for an online marketer is in testing and recognizing the aspects of their website that are converting. For example, the online marketer should test all aspects of their site, such as the site’s appearance, the content of the site, the advertisement placement, etc. Many online marketers test these aspects and find that even slight changes on one’s website can greatly increase their conversions and therefore, their earnings.

At the end of the day, filling one’s website content with trophy keyword phrases doesn’t matter so much, if those keyword phrases aren’t converting or creating revenue. Conversely, the online marketer might not have the Google rank they desire, but if their keywords or other aspects of their website are converting, they are coming out ahead of the person who’s site ranks higher, but isn’t converting. What’s the sense of obsessing around ranking status or Google ranking reports, if the site isn’t converting as it should?

So, does this mean that your site’s Google rank doesn’t matter? The short answer is that one’s ranking certainly helps them to gain more online traffic. However, the online marketer needs to focus less on Google ranking reports and focus a lot more on making sure that they understand the aspects of their website that are actually creating revenue conversion.

Google Ranking: How Is Data From Facebook And Twitter Used?

Posted by on Sunday, 15 January, 2012

A lot of web entrepreneurs are asking if data from Twitter, Facebook and other social networks are used for Google ranking. The answer is yes, however for this to work to your advantage there are a few things you need to consider.

When Google is sweeping social media links for ranking, like those obtained from Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites, they are also taking a hard look at the reputation of the people or companies that create the content, thereby creating the links.

Google has a series of web quality teams that review blog searches, real time searches and now social media searches. In the past they mainly considered real time searches or individual tweets. They are now studying how advantageous it is to go further within the social media web search links. So if you haven’t started thinking about social media marketing, then you need to do so now.

Google Ranking: How Is Data From Facebook And Twitter Used?

When Google first starting ranking social media sites they didn’t focus as much on content. As of December 2010 content and reputation has become an important key in Google ranking these links for top notch exposure.

Google can only rank what they can see. If for some reason the content on the link is blocked by web crawlers or some other method and Google is unable to see the content, the links and content won’t be signaled. This just makes sense but is often overlooked.

If you are considering this news as a great opportunity to make money online today, you’re absolutely right. Before jumping in however, here is some important advice you need to consider before going crazy trying to throw content on your social media posts or profiles.

Google’s ranking signal qualifying methods carefully look at not only the quantity of the links but the quality of the links including quality content. Always remember – garbage in garbage out. You don’t want to jump in trying to take advantage of this great moment in online marketing, quickly creating tons of links that have weak content. It will be a huge waste of your time. Taking time to create or post good content implementing your great writing, marketing and sales skills will be worth the effort in the long run. This is really not so different from old school marketing. Show that you are a true professional offering what the public wants.

Another thing to keep in mind is that chances are good that Google will ignore your pages if you are using software programs or bots to create them. It is also important to remember that if you link somewhere from your social media posts, you should send your followers to a landing page, not just a straight affiliate link. At this point you’re not being rated, your affiliate program is. So take the time to build a landing page if you’re linking people to the topic they were interested in with your information around it.

Google ranking typically looks at real time searches and the entry streams but they are considering it in more depth in web searches also. Inbound social buzz surrounding the deep content of your website or blog not only increases the visibility of your content, it tells the search engines that your content is “popular”, “timely” and “relevant” … The search engines want this kind of content at the top and Social Media Science’s Synnd is what you need to get your site to the first page of Google.

Why Are Social Signals So Vital?

Does Google See Autoblogging As Spam?

Posted by on Monday, 28 November, 2011

Many online marketing entrepreneurs are wondering the same thing. Whether they are experienced entrepreneurs or beginners at making money online today, while using a computer, they all want to know the answer. Does Google see autoblogging as spam?

Blogspam involves the owner of the blog both copying the original work of others without permission and then posting the information on his or her own blog. It is also the act of revising the original work of others and displaying it on a blog as his or her, own and then generating a profit from it. Consider how as an original author, you find your copyrights violated by someone who is autoblogging with a set it and forget it mindset.

What is an autoblog?

An autoblog is a blog that runs on robotic autopilot. The idea is quite resourceful. However, it seems that too many blog owners are setting and forgetting his or her autoblog and this is causing a problem. The problem stems from the congestion of repeat content on so many different blogs. Many individuals think you can just set the blog on autopilot and then totally forget about it and money will come rolling in. However, even though you have access to an autoblog, you still have to tend the store, meaning you have to add some information manually along with the automatic post.

Does Google See Autoblogging As Spam?

Problems when using autoblogging software.

Using autoblogging software may be more trouble than it is worth, since it can cause problems. Some of these problems include making mistakes in grammar in the posts. This makes a bad impression for anyone reading your blog. It is possible for a robotic autopilot to post conflicting viewpoints from one blog post to another. Are you sure that you want more than one point of view presenting on your blog or just your own personal point of view. Using them might save some time, but they can also make you lazy because of use.

Google is being fair.

People who are searching online for information want to read blogs that are fresh with new content. They want more up-to-date information from real people. These online users do not want to read the same old thing that is rehashing repeatedly by so many other bloggers who may have a program or platform that sends out the same canned message.

Google does not seem to have a problem with using autoblogging software to build and or maintain an autoblog. However, it appears that they suggest that when you do use them that you should pay more attention to what you are broadcasting on your blogs. It makes a good deal of sense when you think about it. If everyone uses autoblogging, while using the same keywords, then all the blogs will look and act the same. They will look and read like robotics rather than being a good piece of information that a real person thought about while sitting down to share that knowledge with you and the rest of the world.

What is the best option when it involves an autoblog.

The best option may be to add your own personal content manually or if you choose to use an autoblogging program, just make sure you keep an eye on it while adding snippets or blurbs of content within the posts of your blog.

Free T Gen By JP Schoeffel

Posted by on Thursday, 17 November, 2011

There is a brand new online service by JP Schoeffel known as Free T Gen that promises 15,000 backlinks per month for your site from relevant, high page rank domains. Marketers in desperate need of more traffic know that being on the first page of the search engines can mean massive traffic and credibility for your websites. You can convert that traffic into sales and email subscribers. The key is getting relevant backlinks from high page rank sites.

Free T Gen (means free traffic generation?) claims to have a huge infrastructure with of over 1,000 high page rank sites. With its patented software, you can queue up to 100 content items (posts, articles, videos, ads) with up to 3 embedded links each, which are drip fed into their network.

What I Like

What I like about this online service is that you get all of the permalinks to the sites where your content is posted, allowing you to promote those links for even more link juice. So far, all of the Free T Gen sites that my content has been posted on are relevant and have a PR3 or higher, which will most certainly help my rankings.

Free T Gen also allows you to have up to 50 anchor text links per month posted to 300 of there indexed web pages that can be edited or modified at any time. (15,000 backlinks)

What I Do Not Like

What I do not like is that you cannot submit spun syntax to Free T Gen. In the post Panda era duplicate content may not carry the same weight with Google. Since you are not trying to get the content that you submit to Free T Gen ranked, I don’t think this is a big issue. Just be sure to get your sites content indexed first before submitting to Free T Gen.

Recommendation

As you embark on obtaining all of these highly targeted backlinks, you will see your website soaring in the search engines. Exactly how many backlinks? More than 15,000 relevant links… per month. What this means is even a new site can make it to page One of Google, sometimes in weeks, at times in merely days.

And here is something that every marketer dreams of – with Free T Gen your websites can not only reach the highest echelons of the search engine results, they can also REMAIN there indefinitely. Focus on building these backlinks long enough and your sites can become virtually unbeatable in the search engine rankings.

If you would like to see your website not only hit the first page of the search engines, but also remain there day after day, week after week, driving free traffic to your website then take a closer look at adding Free T Gen to your list of top notch link building tools.

Make Money Online Today With Smart SEO Strategies

Posted by on Wednesday, 4 May, 2011

There are changes coming our way from Google and those of us who want to make money online today have to stay in the know. Google is a lot more communicative these days about what they expect to see when they crawl a page or at least, when their spiders crawl a page to index it.

If you want to maintain a high Google Page Rank, then it is going to pay to get quicker. That’s right, Google says that if you go after eliminating that latency and you speed things up, you are going to do better for your customers. In case you were wondering, a quality site should not be slow. That means you have got to speed it up wherever you can and make sure things load quickly. You can check your site’s speed and get recommendations by visiting here.

Customers that get a fast loading page will end up doing more, according to Google, and if you think about it, it really is common sense. If you optimize your images and get that site screaming along, you are giving your customers less time to lose interest. That means they’re far more likely to buy. It’s a small factor for climbing up the Google Page Rank, but it can juice your site. Google wants to see nice, fast pages that give their searchers what they want: quality sites with good content. The faster the site is, the more likely it is going to deserve a good Google rank because it is more likely to be fine tuned and up to date.

What about if you are doing SEO work, though? Well, Google recommends that you get everyone the site’s company on board. They need to understand why Google Page Rank is important. They need to know how SEO fits into the promotion of their site and how it is going to lend itself to a higher ROI. Remember, not everyone is as knowledgeable about SEO as those of us who have been doing it for quite some time. It might be old hat to us, but to those who have have barely a clue that Google rank is even a factor in a site’s success, it certainly needs to be explained.

If you want to make money online today as an SEO consultant or firm, you want to try to get control over the content management system. (CMS)  Google wants to see solid internal links and good architecture.  This means using relevant keywords and dodging the spam tactics. It means keeping those 404 errors kept up with. Today’s Google is going to penalize you if you have a lot of broken pages. Quality is the key if you want to make money online today and those sites that just can’t keep it together? They’re likely to washed out of the the Google rankings altogether. You don’t want that to happen.

Last, but not least, Google thinks you should do more social media marketing. It might come as a shock to some who thought it was always going to be SEO versus social media marketing, but Google does not think so. From the looks of it, Google is now implying that they want to see real relationships from sites that add value to the net. They want interaction and lots of it. Get your SEO strategy oriented to more than just the nuts and bolts and you’re very likely going be able to make money online today.

Best Practices For Getting Backlinks

Posted by on Wednesday, 26 January, 2011

If you are at all interested in making money online today then you’ve heard of backlinks. According to Google, organic link building is one of the most difficult of search engine optimization efforts but it isn’t impossible. Here are a few highly effective strategies to help you pick up the pace in building backlinks.

Consider the most desirable content. Nowadays people seem to love controversy but you never want to make all of your content lean in that direction. People will get bored and lose interest fast. Constantly complaining that this is bad or that is bad and hating everyone and everything will tire your followers or potential followers quickly. A little goes a long way with a controversy based articles and people will quickly lose interest in you. Consider using humor along with it or any content that somehow sets you apart.

Join communities; we are not merely talking about bombarding a lot of blogs and forums with spam. Provide something of value, answer questions or solve problems. People will be more likely to remember you and save your links simply because you answered their questions or provided useful, fun information and facts.

Your content must be original and please spend some time on it. You’re selling yourself and/or your company. Put in the effort and provide useful information.

Create comparison articles and posts. Answer questions that the public would find useful like useful reviews, this product or that product, cost versus value.

Offer newsletters for people already coming to your blog. Email them your newletters which will encourage them to come back to your blog or website.

Use social media like Facebook and Twitter to post useful and fun information which sends people to your website or blog. Getting to know people there will pay off in many ways, not just in backlinks. You can also consider appearing in a conference on one of the social sites which is also a terrific way to get backlinks.

Another great idea for articles that people seem to like on blogs are how tos and tutorials, even if it’s something you just learned about cooking the perfect lobster or how to setup a printer. If you write down the steps for yourself why not share them on your blog? It’s a great way to create more backlinks.

Run a service that people will find useful or come up with a product and release it for free and give it to the community. Examples might be a Firefox or Chrome extension or perhaps a WordPress plugin. Something that makes you look like an expert and people may be grateful because you gave them something for free.

Even if you don’t get a ton of links to your post, often times clever use of long tail keywords is enough because other people searching for the information will find you even if you only have 2 or 3 links to it.

Consider making videos. They are easy to do and if they are useful and informative people will come back for more. Once you’ve made them, they’re online for everyone one to search and watch over and over. Great way to get backlinks.

Most importantly make sure that your site has good site architecture. Can your site be crawled? Can my url’s be bookmarked? Can Google get to all the pages on my site? If you answered yes to the questions you are a step above most on the internet. These criteria are often overlooked.

A Google Ranking Guarantee… What’s The Catch?

Posted by on Friday, 14 January, 2011

Every few weeks, we get an email from a potential customer who tells us that he does not believe our ranking guarantee. That’s understandable. We guarantee that your website will be found in the regular (unpaid) search results on Google for the keywords of your choice. How does this work and will it work for your website?

How can Internet Business Promoter (IBP) guarantee top 10 rankings on Google and what’s the catch? Many people will tell you that it is not possible to guarantee top 10 rankings on Google. That is correct. No one can guarantee top 10 rankings except for Google’s engineers.

However, IBP has a success rate of more than 98% and we will give you your money back if you belong to the very few people who don’t get top 10 rankings on Google with IBP. How does it work in detail?

1. You choose the keyword and the search engine – You tell IBP for which keyword you want to get a top 10 position and you choose the search engine on which you want to have a top 10 position. This can be Google.com, Google.co.uk, many other local Google variations as well as Bing, their local variations and many other search engines.

2. IBP analyzes your web page – IBP’s Top 10 Optimizer will then analyze all the relevant ranking elements on your web page as well as the links to your website and calculate a ranking score based on that information. The higher the ranking score, the more likely it is that your website will be listed on Google’s first result page.

3. IBP tells you in detail what you have to change – If your website does not have a 100% score, IBP will tell you in plain English what exactly you have to do to improve your web page and the links to your site. The advice will be tailored to your website, the chosen search engine and the chosen keyword and IBP will tell you in detail what you have to change and how you have to change it.

4. You make the changes on your web page – In the last step, you change your web page according to the suggestions of IBP’s Top 10 Optimizer until there are no further suggestions (IBP’s Top 10 Optimizer gives your site a 100% rating).

That’s it. No catch, no strings attached. If you change your website according to IBP’s Top 10 Optimizer then your website will be listed on Google’s first result page in the regular results.

Not all ranking guarantees are equal. There are quite a few companies that offer top 10 guarantees. You should take a close look at their offerings. For example, some companies will charge you a monthly fee for the “optimization” of your website. They take half of that fee to advertise your website on Google AdWords, keep the rest and that’s it.

Other companies will give you a top 10 ranking guarantee only for keywords that they choose. It’s not difficult to get top 10 rankings for obscure keywords that nobody searches for. Unfortunately, these top 10 rankings won’t help your business at all.

A top 10 ranking guarantee should be for the keywords of your choice and it should be for the regular, unpaid search results. That’s the guarantee that you get with IBP.

You can order IBP here.  A demo version is available on this page.

Make Money Online Today | SEO or PPC?

Posted by on Monday, 20 December, 2010

Make Money Online Today With SEO and PPCThe online community is definitely a large market place that you cannot ignore, especially if you have an internet business. There are thousands if not millions of consumers that you can tap in the internet.

At the same time, the internet also poses a quite different challenge. The easy access that internet provides also gives you as much competition as you can imagine. It is too crowded and congested.

Having a website is not enough to make your business running and able to compete. You must take other alternatives to give way for the online community to access your website at any rate or chance possible.

You have to expose your website. Make it known. It has to be visible. It has to be frequently targeted by consumers and surfers.

Invest in marketing your internet site.  There are basically two options available to you, the SEO and PPC. These two are probably the most desirable alternatives you can get for your internet business as strategy for search engine marketing.

1. SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Some researches indicate that 60% – 70% of internet surfers and users actually resort to using the Google search engine to find and locate web sites and pages, for any topic they desire. SEO is the process taken to make sure that the internet uses will find your website when ranked among the top results of a search. This way you can make sure that you will be visible and can clearly stand out from the rest.

To get a search engine optimization, you will have to build on your own internet site frequently hit internet links to web site pages. The process will involve IBLN or Independent Back-Linking Network, wherein hundreds or even thousands of pages will be utilized to promote a particular website of a client.

In SEO, there is no need for you to pay for the clicks although it will require you to spend time doing research to get a favorable combination of ads and target audience. The SEO process is a long term one. It requires months, 6 months at the least, before the proper outcome is fully achieved, but once the goal is accomplished, you will definitely get a steady source of profit.

2. PPC

PPC means Pay Per Click. It gives way advertising on a search engine. These are sponsored listings that you see whenever you make a search. There will be a charge whenever a visitor or web surfer clicks on any of your ads. There will first be a bidding process. The highest bidder for the price per click will definitely get the chance to be first listed in the search engine.

With this kind of advertising, you can still basically control your campaign as you get to create your own ad. You will also manage the target audience and still stay within the bounds of your budget. Most of the providers of PPC advertising will allow you to specify the target market, either by topic, industry or geographical location. You can also very well check if your ad gets to be shown at all and if it is competitive with the rest.

There are some guaranteed benefits when you get to maximize the PPC strategy.

  • PPC lets you advertise to the whole of the online community. It is also relatively easy to set up.
  • At first glance, PPC advertising may seem very expensive. Could it possibly happen that someone out there will go on clicking on your ad? This will definitely give you a large bill without the expected profit on your part. If this provides a lot of worries, be rest assured that there is a protection for you. Networks are able to recognize fraudulent clicks.
  • You can also set a budget for a certain period. The moment your budget has been used up by the target number of clicks, your ads will no longer be displayed until the next period you want it again displayed.
  • You will also be able to adjust well to changes in market demands and trends.

In deciding which of the two strategies will work right for you, think of your goals and of your resources. They definitely offer benefits and advantages that will work for your good. The better way to approach this two is to evaluate according to your short term and long term plans. Take the PPC course for your short term goals and choose SEO if you have long term ones.

There world is out there for you now. Just make sure you do what will work best for your entrepreneurial endeavors and visions. The secret to success lies in your hands. Just study your options well and you’ll get exactly what you want.

Tips To Natural Web Site Optimization

Posted by on Thursday, 14 October, 2010
by Nick Davison
Key phrase Density

It’s a frequent misconception that having your desired key phrases appear over and over in your content is the way in which to rank well for that keyword. This is not true, while search engines like Google and yahoo crawl your website and decide what terms your web site is related to, having them packed into your content can make your content appear unnatural and spammy.

How many occasions have you come across a website that reads like this “Looking for real estate in Tokyo? This is the perfect guide for real estate in Tokyo Buy real estate, find houses for sale in Tokyo and sell houses in Tokyo here!” Sounds sort of redundant doesn’t it? Imagine somebody talking to you like that. Most engines like google will identify this as spammy. It’s advisable to incorporate your desired key phrases throughout your content material but in a method that sounds natural and makes sure your content is useful.

HTML Tags

These are the areas you will want to make certain your keywords are in. Your title and h1 tags are good places to begin (I’ll get to meta tags within the subsequent section). For the site attempting to promote real estate within the earlier tip they might have gone with the same spammy tactic and made the title tag something like “Real Estate Tokyo, Houses Tokyo, Houses for sale in Tokyo, Sell real estate in Tokyo.” Once again this appears spammy to engines and users alike. A better title looks something like “Real Estate in Tokyo | Buy and Sell Property Here.”

In the correctly optimized title we still make sure that the term “Real Estate In Tokyo” are the first phrases within the title however we do not repeat it to make it more natural sounding. We also include the location to help rank for local searches. “Purchase and Sell Property Here” is included to tell the person of what the site offers. Different key phrases ought to be included within the h1, h2, h3 tags and so forth in decreasing order of importance. For our Real estate web site the h1 header might be “Purchase and Sell Real Estate in the Tokyo Area” and beneath might be brief description of the business. The h2 header may very well be the particular section for purchasing property in Tokyo and so on.

Meta Keywords/Description

The meta keywords tag is another place where some people have misconceptions. Years ago search engines like google used to use them to see what was on a webpage. As folks became conscious of this and started abusing it by inserting irrelevant key phrases in there the engines reduced the worth they placed on them (Google does not even look at them). Some individuals recommend to stll use the tag it as it will probably still help to have them even if the engines do not take a look at them. I disagree nonetheless, your competitors can simply take a look at your source code and see what key phrases you are attempting to rank for and begin their own campaign to rank for those keywords. search engine optimization is a perpetually advancing effort and you must always be trying to improve your site. Giving your competitor an inside look at what your trying to accomplish could hurt you within the long run.

The meta description tag is where you write a brief description (under one hundred and seventy chars) about the page. This tag has no bearing on rankings, and a small bearing on content relevance, it is however the small bit of textual content that appears underneath the pages title within the SERP. The keywords the user searched for will appear in bold in the description. While the description won’t help your ranking if the users keywords are in bold in your description this may make your page more visible (not to mention if the keyword can be in your title your web page title will be in bold as well). Having a well written description may very well be the difference in being passed over as spam and a click.

Three Straightforward Methods To Improving Your Sites Search Rankings

Posted by on Tuesday, 12 October, 2010
by Nick Davison
1. Exclusive And Original Content.

In order for your website to rank highly it must have something to offer Google in the way of worthy content, to be considered valuable the content material should be unique, which means that content material ought to only be displayed on one url within your web site (unless the rel=canonical attribute is used to specify a favored page) and should not be present on any other web site on the web. Use a plagiarism detector such as copyscape on each page in your domain to be sure that each and every web page is unique. If in case you have content material that is displayed on canonical urls inside your own site, then use the google url removal tool to do away with the urls you do not need indexed. (copyscape is not going to uncover duplicate results on the same domain, so you will have to check for canonicalization manually by using the site: command in Google and checking through the list of listed pages.

2. Domain Trust.

Each domain that’s listed by Google is apportioned a certain amount of trust, many factors are taken into account when determining trust, such as the web sites you link to, the age of your domain, and whether you may have used any dubious link building strategies such as link farms and paid linking. By exercising caution and ensuring your search engine optimization provider is a reputable one (if you have one) or avoiding any unprincipled link building methods if you happen to do your own Search engine optimisation, in addition to carefully vetting the websites you hyperlink out to in an effort to ensure they are of a high quality, you may actively defend and encourage the trust factor that Google attributes to your domain.

3. Inbound Links.

I am sure that pretty much everybody reading this text is aware that inbound hyperlinks are one of the most influential ranking factors, google effectively counts each link pointing to your domain from another domain as a vote for the target page, anchor text used within the hyper link is additionally factored as a vote for relevance to that term. Build more hyperlinks than your competitors and make certain that you have a trustworthy domain with unique content material and you’ll outrank your competitors, its that simple.

Link building is enormously time consuming work, and should be seen as something that must be done every day. If you are the owner of a growing business this may often produce a problem, there just isn’t enough time to place aside for promoting your web site, but moreover your small business would profit from ranking on the first page for its important keywords. For those of you who are in a financial bind right now; you can use any one of the free methods to generate a enough traffic and conversions to come up with enough money to start investing into things that will grow your business. Now that you have you have money to reinvest you need to spend it only on methods that will be profitable. This money can be invested into paid advertising methods such as Google AdWords, banner advertising, etc. Return on investment is crucial as an affiliate marketer, so be sure you always place your money in a high return investment. Once you establish a profitable source of advertising then you should go and find one more, and continue the process. What other business can you think of that will allow you to go from nothing to something in such a short amount of time?

If you don’t have a system in place then you will find that you may be better off keeping your job. At your job you know exactly what to do and how to do it, however; affiliate marketing is running a business and requires more skills. Your business is completely in your hands and this type of responsibility can be intimidating at first. Learning to be organized will overcome most of the problems you face. But don’t get into affiliate marketing thinking it’s another ‘multi level marketing’ business plan that claims to turn you into a millionaire without doing anything. Any person who promises you a way to get rich overnight is trying to scam you out of your money. Affiliate marketing has a huge potential for those who are willing to approach it as a business and take it seriously, is this you? Many people confuse affiliate marketing for advertising. Even though affiliate marketing is one of the greatest ways to get exposure for your product, it’s no way similar to advertising. When you advertise a product, you pay for it in advance for the due time. With affiliates, you only pay out when they make a sale. That’s right, you and your affiliates are sharing the revenue. If you have a product idea or already own a product the your best bet is to start an affiliate program.

It’s a myth that you just need one good affiliate program to make it big.First of all, you never want to put all your eggs in one basket. Similarly, just depending on one affiliate program won’t take you far. The key to a successful campaign is to test offers until you find one. Never put all of your trust in one program you must have a safety net that will prevent you from losing everything is that program goes bad on you. Testing different networks will allow you to find out who coverts better, also. And yes, some affiliate programs have terrible offers, poor customer service, and even have the audacity not to pay on time. With experience you won’t have to waste much time when it comes to choosing programs because you will already have your expectations set. Finding a good affiliate program is not rocket science and can be as simple as looking around and listening to what affiliates are saying about various programs. Your job is to uncover the quality of the program. You want to promote quality products that so what they promise to do. You are in this business to make as much money as you can but you want to do it ethically and with merchants who will support you.

The only hard part of affiliate marketing is making up your mind to succeed and settling down to learn your first set of skills. Is it really that hard? Well, actually this is nothing but a myth. Don’t doubt yourself by believing all of these false claims; find people who know the business then do what has made them successful. You may be surprised how easy it is to get super affiliate status when you focus on all the right elements. It’s all about doing what works.

All in all, the above myths that we discussed about affiliate marketing don’t hold any water, so don’t get deviated from your main goal.
